Almost every summer since my husband and I graduated from high school, we have spent two weeks camping in Yellowstone National Park. I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and we are living our dream in Yellowstone National Park. I grew up on german-dubbed episodes of Little House, Gunsmoke, and Bonanza, as well as the adventure novels set in the old American West by German author, Karl May. I was born and raised in Germany, but long before my family immigrated to the U.S., I was fascinated with the American West. I used to work with a vet who had three children while going through vet school.

When my husband and I decided to start a family, vet school pretty much went out the window. I guess life just had other plans for me.
